A little late in blogging this wedding as I’ve been snowed under this year with weddings to photograph, and family photography; so I’ve just managed to blog this wedding.
James and Rose were married in the quaint Lancashire village of Croston on a rainy saturday afternoon. The wedding service was held in the grand St Michael’s Church and, happily for myself and the guests, the reception was just twenty steps away, in the old school hall.
The day started with James arriving in an old ‘Leyland Tiger’ bus from 1946, aptly named ‘Rosie’; hired from Cumbria Classic Coaches. After a few shots of James, we ran to avoid the torrential rain and found shelter in the church, then waited for the bride to arrive.......
So it’s that time of year again! This is the start of the wedding season for me after a short break where I have been practicing and developing my family photography skills; more details to follow ;) I’m now back to my bread and butter, to my main passion of being a wedding photographer.
Charlotte and Darren were married in Moss Lodge Hotel in Rochdale, a lovely small and intimate venue perfect for a winter wedding......
My last wedding of 2016 was in the Holiday Inn in Haydock near Wigan, with the lovely Laurie and Kev.
The wedding took place all in one venue which made it easier for me as a wedding photographer. It's quite nerve wracking trying to get from one location to another before the bride on a wedding day.
It was a gorgeous bright autumn day with nice colourful orange leaves and strong light which looked great in the photos!
