THE DIDSBURY PARSONAGE TRUST
Angela and Simon decided to get get married at Didsbury’s Parsonage Trust in South Manchester as they are in love with this historic building and the stunning Fletcher Moss garden that surrounds it.
Dated from 1650, The Parsonage Trust has transform the picturesque site into a blooming community hub where exhibitions, classes and other events take place regularly.
The ceremony was held in one of the historic rooms, featuring a large gorgeous window that brought the views of the gardens to the wooden interiors.
Simon was the first of the couple to arrive, and waited for the soon bride to be while greeting the guests. There wasn’t a large group of wedding guests but they were well travelled; Angela's dad came from London as the rest of her family traveled all the way from North America to accompany the couple in their big day.........
I met Kevin and Amanda the year before in Manchester’s Castlefield area as they trusted me to take their engagement pictures, you can see all the photos from the shoot here. Also. on the 20th of May this year I had the pleasure of being their wedding photographer in Salford’s Media City, at a place called ‘On the 7th’. Although I had been to Media City many times, I had never seen this hip venue as it is hidden away in the 7th floor of one of the tallest buildings..........
After working hard with all the cool people I have met doing family photos in Manchester for a few months, I was looking forward to getting back to my main job as a wedding photographer.
Greg and Emma got married in the picturesque market town of Sandbach in leafy East Cheshire. The day started off with reports of rain for later in the day. When I arrived to photograph Emma and the girls it was starting to lightly rain although that didn’t dampen anyone's spirits. The bubbly Emma and equally fun bridesmaids were a joy to work with and after photographing the bridal preparation I raced down to catch Greg at the venue.
The ceremony took place in Sandbach Town Hall, a Victorian gothic hall which dates back to 1889 and has undergone refurbishment. It is such a stunning place, a perfect venue for a wedding........
